The smaller polo base t cross and this more snazzy t rock with fun names to match. It costs around 40 grand before on road costs and extras so it's up there in terms of price and it competes with cars like the skoda, karak and subaru xv. I drove it over seven days for this week's family review for a more detailed review head to the car's guide website and, if you're watching this on youtube hit subscribe for more videos, it looks like a fun car to get around in with that modern suv shape That perfectly encompasses what this car is about. A whole lot of effervescence, with a dash of sophistication kind of like the car version of rebel wilson. You just want to hang out in this car inside is nicely styled without it feeling overwhelming and it's just a really fun car to be in. It starts with these two tone: seats it's covered in a mesh fabric that just feels smooth, so it's nice on bare legs, and it just sets the tone for the car Music. The steering wheel is covered in leather, and it has that flat bottom ish shape. So it just feels good to touch there's a really nice streamlined center console area and there are brushed aluminium trims throughout the car. So on the gear, stick the steering wheel even on the foot pedals which just feels premium. If you wanted to take it up a notch, you could opt for the luxury package which just gives you things like a sunroof and leather seats, but it does cost extra.
There are two cup holders in the front: quite a small center storage bin, but it does suit the size of the car and there's a deep spot in here for keys or a phone plus you'll get bottle holders in each door. The multimedia screen fits neatly into the dash, which just looks great and keeps things sleek you can plug in for apple carplay or android, auto it's, just easy technology and instantly syncs to your phone's main apps. So you can navigate or you can use your streaming apps. Just with the same interface that you're used to from your phone and there's a good amount of space in here, even the tall people in my family had enough leg, room and headroom to fit comfortably. We also had enough room in between the driver and the passenger seat, so you don't need to worry about that either my kids fit nicely into the backseat they're aged six and eight, and they could fit their backpacks on in the seat between them. I wouldn't try and get a third child seat in here. It did fit when i tried it, but it was so tight. You wouldn't want to be doing that every day adults will fit into the back seat too, i'm, 161 centimeters or three, and i can fit back here quite comfortably there's, a small amount of room between my knees and the seat in front of me. But i think taller adults and teenagers will have just enough room rear passengers will get two cupholders in the back seat and you also get directional air vents, which is quite rare in the small suv category, and my kids always appreciate these.
You also get two bottle holders in each door. The boot is a decent '2 liters, which is not small but it's, not huge either. Some small suvs don't fit a pram, but this one will easily take a pram and you can also get a large suitcase in there. Sporting equipment, grocery bags or school bags and the driving is really nice. I was pleasantly surprised by the agility of the t rock and it cruises nicely along highways as well there's, a two liter four cylinder turbo petrol engine, which is plenty of power to get you uphill swiftly or overtake other cars with confidence. It handles nicely, and you feel quite good driving this car. There is another t rock on the way that has a smaller engine with less power, that's also less expensive. So for those with a lower budget, you might want to wait for that. One Music parking in the t, roc, is great because of the compact size and there's, also quite a high definition, reverse parking camera to help you out. If you do get stuck, this car also has park assist which will park the car for you. The safety is super comprehensive. There is adaptive cruise control, blind spot monitoring, recourse traffic alert, lane change, assist and a driver fatigue alert warning system, amongst other things, airbags cover the driver and front passenger and there's side curtain, airbags that go to the back row. There are two isofix points and three top tether points to fix.
Kids car seats in fuel consumption is acclaimed 7.2 liters per 100ks, and this week i averaged 9.5 liters per 100ks Music. The volkswagen t, roc, is the kind of car you go for when you don't want a fully grown suv you're after a lighter, more fun drive in a small suv. It'S got enough space for a family of four with decent boot space. For this category, plus, it looks good and it's got loads of safety. I gave it a family rating of 7.7 this week and my kids gave it the same.
